Nov 23, 2011 - I think she was great - really charismatic on camera. I read she had a hard life later on. She had a mental health problem , the chap she was with took her money, even ended up sleeping rough at one point. A lovely talent, such a shame! The audience clearly loved her.

Feb 21, 2012 - I had the privilege of doing essential maintenance work in Kathy Kirby's flat in Kensington/Chelsea about 11 years ago.The first thing that struck me was how security conscious she was. On my arrival I knocked at the door, she asked me my name and who I worked for. She then unbolted 5 locks before opening the door slightly, She checked my pass, and then allowed me in.
