Feb 2, 2012 - ya but terran units have stupidly low health on the most part a marine only has 55 w combat shield while a storm does 45 damage pretty much killing the marine and a marauder only has 125 so takign out a 3rd of its health. due to the fact all toss units are heavy hitters (cept the sentry :P) the terran army gets wiped pre easy and then EMP simply wouldnt be effective if it did damage over time.

Feb 2, 2012 - the problem I've always seen in TvP is that a full 3 units from the terran side go virtuallly unused with the exception of 1 1 1 timing pushesyou can't use thors, reapers, tanks maybe in the late TvP game

Feb 3, 2012 - I see tanks with marines against Toss but not as much as the MMM... thor is a late unit and most often accompanied with ghost which completely annihilate a Toss ball...on the other hand I almost never see phoenix, void or carrier being used against a Terran... the first unit, marine, counter all stargate units...

Feb 5, 2012 - The problem is that zealots synergize very well with protoss units. Take a match up of like 25 maurders vs 5-6 collosi with micro the Terran should win with an overwhelming advantage. But mix in like 5 chargelots which the remaining 10-12 maurders should be able to handle makes the battle much much harder. The terran can still win but the level of micro goes up ridiculously. And all the toss has to to do is A move.

Feb 7, 2012 - Well I was assuming you were taking the position of defending Protoss and saying that Terran have different unit speeds and make an argument out of that. Besides Zealots and Sentries relatively have the same unit speed as marines and marauders, only stalkers would give the Protoss an advantage unless you want to stim your Marines or Marauders (lol) but not a lot of people do that.

Feb 20, 2012 - Protoss don't just A-move you retard. Have you ever played Protoss in a league above wood? It requires more than just A-moving. But you know, Terran is so op that there really isn't any reason for toss to try once Terran have their disgustingly powerful MMMVG. That combo destroys all Protoss ground and air. They need to just remove the emp from the ghost and put it on the raven, then it'd be fair.

Feb 20, 2012 - Protoss is a depressingly a move race. It takes 17 marauder hits to kill a zealot wereas it takes only 10 from a lot to kill a marauder. That plus the rediculous ranged splash damage, terran doesnt stand a chance. protoss complain about emp, but look at the splash dealers u have -- colossi, archon, storm which perfectly synergizes with forcefields.

Feb 28, 2012 - @TheTTGL: It looks like MMA made good choices that could have won him the game very early, but he just didn't follow them up or capitalise, basically allowing Hasu to catch up again. While he was flanking with his medivacs, his larger army was sitting inactive.

Mar 13, 2012 - Lots are hard counters for marauders. Same as cracklings vs marauders. Marauders are hard counters for stalkers and raoches.I could just as easily ask why terran t1.5 beats zerg and toss t1.5 so easily.

Apr 6, 2012 - I've just switch from Terran to Protoss and absolutely wrecking havoc vs Terrans. Chargelots/Stalkers/Sentries/Collusus/Archon & HTs does so much damage vs their bioball and they can't go mech because they are just less mobile and get countered hard with Immortals. Sad thing is I don't even micro in battle, just throw my army at the Terran and just get a few good storms and GG I'm now in Diamond :)
