Apr 17, 2012 - You don't have to be severely handicapped to be great. Just be modest with yourself and plenty in your own opportunity to assist for a cause of goodness.

May 7, 2012 - I remember as a child reading this incredible lady's story. I had no idea there was actually any footage of her - what a wonderful thing to see. She is truly inspirational! It makes you realise how much we take for granted, but also the incredible ability of some people to overcome diversity.

May 9, 2012 - Polly Thompson was in fact from Scotland. That particular accent (which is thankfully gone) is quite 'affected'.

May 10, 2012 - Did you know that by the time she graduated college, she learned 5 languages? Or that she wrote many books? If you read her writing, you will not think that she is smart "for a person who is blind and deaf at the same time," but that she was incredibly intelligent, period. She was an amazing, inspirational woman.

May 10, 2012 - If you're referring to the woman speaking for Helen, she is from Scotland. The narrator sounds to me to be from one of the no longer existing group of people from New York who spoke very much like an upperclass person from the UK.

Apr 15, 2012 - Because Every Time She Is Done Translating The Holds Up Helen's Hand And When Helen Is Done Talking She Puts Down The Lady's Hand So She Can Start Translating :)
