The reaction would go finished, then you would see it slowly heat up - the paint burns of and the area around the pot gets red hot (asuming that the pot can hold the molten iron in place without crack or melt). The hole in the bottom of that pot is also way to small - the molten iron need a big contact area with the steel. And the door wont blow open that way - the hole just burned is by far enough to let out the hot air.
