Nov 8, 2009 - Wouldn't exactly call these BMW "ads," per se - they're real short films; they just are called "BMW films" because BMW sponsored them. The arrangement was basically that the writers/directors had to use BMW's for cars, and center the films around a character who drives the car. But they had serious directors do this - the director of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" did one, as well as a few other famous directors. These are real films, not just ads, though part of the purpose was placement.
