Mar 21, 2012 - The reason no one says anything about Sony is simple, Nintendo as a company is all about the gaming market, if they loose money in the gaming market its a big thing since that basically is the only focus of Nintendo. Sony is a huge company who doesn´t have just gaming departments, it also has notebooks, tv´s and all kinds of electronics, even if its gaming sales are low, as a company they can take that hit much better than Nintendo.

Nintendo WAS losing profits cause of the wii sales going under 60% in profits but like i said before now they are profitting massively from the Wii & 3Ds, financial troubles have been over for months but Sony has been losing millions since the Vita launch in Japan

What's gimmicky is when two other companies clone a true gaming INNOVATION with platforms based on slow, inefficient cameras! Call it a gimmick all you want, but Kinect and Move are the gimmick's. Personally, I can't wait for MS/Sony to release new motion that's not backwards compatible, forcing their fans to trash the old equipment. Just wait for E3, them the haters are going to change their tune.

The Wii has basically the same graphics capabilities of the gamecube. Motion controls are gimmicky regardless of who made them, plus its not really an innovation, SEGA already had motion control on some of its Dreamcast games, so your beloved Nintendo didn´t innovate jack shit.

Mar 21, 2012 - Whatever man, I am a Nintendo fan boy admittedly, but if I could own all the consoles I would. I picked N cause I like the first party better, but it's obvious that you just don't like Nintendo at all. Saying that all motion is gimmicky is BS and, even though the graphics didn't stack up, the Wii still has plenty of awesome titles. I just think that at E3, Nintendo is going to be the only company bringing new ideas to gaming and helping the industry evolve. Can't wait for the Wii U.

Mar 21, 2012 - Considering i own a DSi, GameBoy Color, love Pokémon and Zelda, and i´m even planing on getting a Wii just for a couple of Zelda games, how can you say i hate Nintendo? I don´t hate Nintendo, they develop great software and good handhelds. But when it comes to home consoles they clearly took the lazy route. Also, yes, all motion gaming is gimmicky regardless of what company we are talking about, Nintendo, Wii, Sony.

Mar 21, 2012 - And no, i don´t think Nintendo innovates as much as many people say, they just improve upon old ideas. The WiiU for exemple, having a screen on the controler is not a Nintendo innovation, unlike what they want to make you think. In 1999 the Dreamcast already had a screen on the controller that interacted with the game on the tv screen. So basically what Nintendo did was improve upon that concept with modern technology. Its not their idea, just like motion controls.

I don't think the 360 is 100% garbage, most of the interesting 360 titles I have on the PC that's why I'm not dying to buy it, but if I thought the console was crap, no WAY I'm giving them my money. Also, motion for shooters on the Wii makes them more accurate than joysticks and makes all other genre's way more intense, plus it will only get better as time goes on, Sony, MS or N.

Apr 20, 2012 - Did you right that comemnt without knowing anything ? at LAST years E3 it showed a 3rd party development list that was heaving with AAA titles from 3rd party devs. Ubisoft is working on 5, thats FIVE games for it as of last years E3. Add to that BF3, the definitive version of Aliens : colonial Marines, Project Cars, Pikmin 3, HD Zelda, and hosts of other games you are on to a winner.
