Apr 24, 2012 - There is a long discussion on Perry's inclusion in the band from the record labels point of view. I can't find it at the moment but you can see a hint of it on the Perry's Wiki page. The article I am mentioning had a long discussion about deciding the bands direction for them and who should be included in the band to make the most money. I really wish I could find that article because it showed how much influence the artist contracts played on the bands.

Not only because Steve is a classic, & helped create memories for most of us, I'm sure with their songs like "Faithfully" & "Send Her My Love" & even "Open Arms"...But it was that time too, that era of the 70's & 80's that we will never have with the lead guy now!
