May 16, 2012 - I remember watching this vid on MTV and feeling like an old perv drooling over Joe. Now I find he's 5 years older than I am, to the day! lol.

May 16, 2012 - It's good to lust. Joe is a great singer and Rainbow is a great band.

May 16, 2012 - Everything about this song is so smooth. The drumming, Joe Lynn Turner's voice and Ritchie's guitar couldn't be better. Everytime I hear this song it sends shivers down my spine , so eerie and beautiful at the same time.

May 17, 2012 - Rainbow's last Top 40 hit. Can you imagine a song this good on the Top 40 today?

May 17, 2012 - Blackmore's sweep picking and guitar playing in general is sublime on this song.

May 19, 2012 - I can't believe that this video still even exist anymore. I have always loved this song and have listened to it for years not knowing that they even made a video for this song. They just don't make songs like this today. Man I sure do miss the 80's I grew up in because it was a time when music exploded with diversity and it will never happen again. Music has just gotten so mundane and now its hard to tell one song from another.

May 20, 2012 - Richie looks like a younger Paulie from Rocky!
Jeff Soderberg Says:
May 20, 2012 - This was the best lineup Rainbow ever had. Then Richie disbands them to put Deep Purple back together. Now the 80's Deep Purple was way better than the 60's & 70's Deep Purple but not anywhere as good as this lineup of Rainbow! But Richie is Richie, whata ya gonna do huh? And with such a killer voice and looks, why did Joe drop off the map?
astromario1055 Says:
May 20, 2012 - a younger paulie? hahahahaha! cool song though. the mannequine girl was kinda creepy.

May 21, 2012 - blackmore is god.
Jeff Hughes Says:
May 21, 2012 - What a kick ass song and band of course!! I feel Rainbow is very underated in the Rock n Roll library. Maybe the songs aren't as catchy as maybe Zeppelin tunes and stuff of that level of success, but I personally feel it matches up to bands such as Zeppelin, The who Etc... Ritchie Blackmore is one of the best underated guitarist I can think of!
stormtrooper62 Says:
May 21, 2012 - There are some (probably more than some) that would disagree that the 80s DP was better than the 60s and 70s Deep Purple. I don't think one is necessarily better than the other - just a matter of personal preference. I prefer 60s and 70s Purple - although I love Perfect Strangers.

batvette Says:
May 27, 2012 - I'd ask all of that too, but look at the wiki page on blackmore, yes he's great but he sounds like a tyrant who says he wants to go one direction, recruits the talent to do so, and when he has what he wanted kicks them all to the curb and says "okay, I want "other!"". Also look at JLT's wiki page, he really didn't drop off the map, look at the incredible diversity of artists who asked him to work with them, Not only is it long but look how stable and consistent. JLT = a pro, & not the problem.
