Apr 13, 2011 - Ok I watched another clip and he does make mention of Moses and the Promised Land, but I don't know if he is doing it from simply a historical perspective or as a Christian. His teaching seems rather humanistic. Do not place your hopes in the future of mankind on Earth, but rather in life after death with God.

Apr 16, 2011 - @questingquetin...lol...Christianity seems rather humanistic, don't you think?

Michaelito72 Says:

Apr 19, 2011 - I understand there is more life after death. I understand the importance of many faiths, not just Christians, in preparing for death. The question remains, why if living is such a sin would God place us here in the first place? After all, the Angel's were also tested and failed. Such was the case with Lucifer. So please, his message was not that you are saved by living well, his message was to live longer the life that God or however we want to call him, gave us. God gave us this life.

cutis1000 Says:

Apr 25, 2011 - There is no life after death. No one has ever come back from death to let us know. Is there something after death? Who is to say. Don't fall into glib or easy answers. Folks like Jesus and Lucifer are made up characters in a fictitious story. Learn to think and reason well. That alone will help you on your journey towards death.

May 3, 2011 - God Bless.

May 11, 2011 - Randy showed us not only how to live, but how to die (in a way). I loved the book, what an inspirational man!

ege929292 Says:

Jun 19, 2011 - @tuzmor wow if this is the way you see the world then i feel sorry for you. The world has its problems, but i also have an abundance of happiness and love. Everyday in every country, almost if not in every town a child feels the love for its family, or a couple in love just watching the sunset. And this is not just in the west world. Its everywhere, and you have to be really cynical to shut it out. Love and happiness is bigger than hate and sadness!

JedwardKullen Says:

Jun 29, 2011 - Happiness is a choice! And this guy chose to be happy even in his last days... A great man

mpaulino Says:

Jul 4, 2011 - @tuzmor How is happiness being disconnected? Looking back on my life, the moments I am at my happiest are when I am with others. Happiness is not the rejection of everything that is wrong with the world, but embracing everything that is right. The world is not perfect, nor does it need to be for me to not suffer or not be happy. I can better my own situation and the situation of those around me; why is that not cause for celebration? That I am alive & healthy is reason enough for me to celebrate

Jul 9, 2011 - He reminds me of a friends dog who had cancer and couldn't even eat anymore, yet he would still run and fetch the ball ! A sad loss, considering there has been a cure for cancer for over 30 years, but completely surpressed.

poppysfit Says:

Jul 22, 2011 - @tuzmor Tried to come up with a nugget of wisdom to argue with you, but the only thing I could think about is how much your words link to your state of mind and describe the state of mind of one who thinks doing harm to others is okay since the world is screwed up anyway. The other thing I thought about is how stupid and selfish you sound. "Pain is the essence of being alive", PLEASE. That's like saying bread is the essence of peanut butter. Sorry, but sometimes I eat it off the spoon.

MrParamorevamp Says:

Jul 27, 2011 - Imagine what he would've done if he had lived. Amazing things :)

carlanewnan Says:

Aug 1, 2011 - @ those who feel their relatives died of cancer proves there is no god. God gave us free will, man created the things that cause cancer, god gives us a cure for cancer, the FDA makes it illegal

RETIREMESOON Says:

Aug 11, 2011 - Reminds me of the song " Live Like You Are Dying "

Sep 9, 2011 - @tuzmor Beautiful.BEAUTIFUL.CANNOT agree MORE.

foolofaguyinlove Says:

Sep 9, 2011 - This man is MY KINDA' GUY.He's as cool as it gets, to be honest. If all of you are in question, THIS is "COOL".I mean, the man knew of his imminent/impending death, and he was not phased in the least. Not just THAT, but he was OUT HAVING FUN, during such times. How much cooler can you GET, really?I mean he's a cool person in terms of his CHARACTER AND calm.Wow.Seriously. WOW.What a marvelously cool guy.I am only TOO happy to respect his entire being.

foolofaguyinlove Says:

Sep 9, 2011 - And it isn't as though he wasn't this way BEFORE he knew of his death, right? It isn't as though death hit him with the sense of urgency of how best to make use of his time left, rather than squander it away, mindlessly. He was ALWAYS the man we saw, when diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. He was the real deal.Nothing short of a divine inspiration.

ouimetnick Says:

Sep 13, 2011 - Very sad. We are watching his last lecture, and taking notes in Active Physics. Not sure what it has to do with the class, but its still interesting, and he sure has a bright attitude for someone who's days were numbered. Good work Randy, and rest in peace.

yasmeeen10 Says:

Oct 14, 2011 - I watched this last year in my precalc class... like below vv idk what it had to do with the class, but I am glad we watched it.

MasterSwordsman Says:

Nov 13, 2011 - Randy never lost battle to cancer. Cancer took his life, but his spirit will always live on in everyone he inspired.
