Feb 8, 2012 - @impygmalion I agree with you. The video shows a very human aspect of David Bowie, and was very disarming for me, personally. Little subtleties, such as David turning on the water, like you pointed out. The faint grin, and David coughing. But what I liked best visually is the shot of her contact lens case; each cover of the case being of a different color; like his eyes appear to be. There's no reference to hiseyes specifically, but through her, there is. You obviously get it; many don't.

But you are all over it; it would be epic to have the character Jareth looking back at him through the mirror. However, history will tell that David often reinvented himself every few years, never looking back. For example, on 3 July 1973, in London, to the astonishment of the crowd and the band he commandeered, he - without warning - announced thatZiggy and crew would be no more.

Feb 9, 2012 - @myzticvizionary I would say that's part of the reason he's so successful, his ability to change with the times. I would imagine the reactions of the band on that announcement, were very similar when Peter Gabriel announced that he was leaving Genisis. Then, they also reinvented themselves.
