Jan 24, 2012 - it's crazy how this song speaks to me. my brother is stationed in north carolina & even though he's only a state away, it feels like a million miles most of the time. i got a picture of me & him in his uniform taped to the dashboard & the marine tag he gave me before he left dangling on the rear view. i'm proud to say my brother is one of my heroes & just one of the few good men.

Mar 10, 2012 - I heard this song for the first time when my brother was in Iraq. When he left he left me his old '87 Ford Ranger. I started driving that truck instead of my own...and I always kept a ball cap he gave me in the dash, and an old handkercheif of his tied around the rear view mirror. That old truck eventually bit the dust and my brother came back home from the war, but to this day this song reminds me of how much I missed him while he was gone.
