You want to get people to laugh in the first 30 secs or less. But the last joke determines the rating? I don't think anyone I know would agree with that. The overall quality is what typically determines the rating (and with abridged series, the focus being on the humor).

Jul 14, 2009 - We're not new to this stuff. Everyone in TCG has their own parodies they've been working on for a year or more. So we know what's "expected" though TFS set the bar mighty high.We're not trying to be TFS, we're trying to be our own thing with a different series, one that isn't nearly as well known or respected. And hopefully we can get more people interested in the original series though they'd be better off reading the manga now since the English release of the anime has been cancelled.

Nice.Ah! I would've said something like, "gentleman's ball in your mouth." But then again, I suppose you'll have several opportunities to make ball jokes in the future.
