Apr 9, 2011 - Actually, real fights do have rules of sorts. Laws of physics for one. Human biology could be another. But then these should still be considered variables because, for example, a crew mate on a spacestation might start going nuts and you get in a fight but the laws of gravity won't apply. Or you may put someone in an armbar and pop their elbow out but the person just pops it back in again because they're so double jointed. But for practical reasons we teach these as constants.

Apr 12, 2011 - @theawakener7 Funny how MMA fighters beat the crap out of any other fighters in a street fight.
ARandomCanadian Says:
Apr 13, 2011 - @theawakener7 Do you have any survey chart that proves otherwise? Or one that proves that Jeet Kune Do is more effective? No.
ARandomCanadian Says:
Apr 13, 2011 - Referees are there to protect the fighters, if there were no referees or rules MMA fighters would use those dirty moves as well. Just look at Bas Rutten's bar fight videos.

Apr 16, 2011 - You nerds needa shut up, you can blabble all you want about your own opinion of taking Bruce's idea into writing and putting it into youtube to show your smart, but you guys probably aint got no experience at fighting, go try it out for yourself and comeback and prove your point.

Apr 20, 2011 - In jeet kune do martial art , its teach you what you should not do,you can do anything you want but its does not teach what you should do, this video should explain the way what the real jeet kune do explain.A lot of peoples out there learn a bit of jeet kune do stuff and claim themself a jkd expert. They don know enough yet what jkd is all about, its a very deep art as Bruce Lee have study ''TAO'' a very deep meaning which have study in china for more than 1,000 years ago.

Jun 28, 2011 - I know its a year ago but.. Since "UFC" Is not a fighting style, your entire point is invalid for one. If you are talking about the style of "MMA" MMA, has moves that could kill, hence the rules in UFC and other event holding companies and no, not every art is deadly in the right persons hand. I can prove you wrong on that easy.

Jul 11, 2011 - how can i get all video related to this?everytime i login in expert village it display "private video"
T1meW4st3d Says:
Nov 6, 2011 - :23 unless you clench...You should have your opponent stand in an orthodox stance for training vids, because most people are right handed and don't know JKD. Just a thought.Nice technique though.
xjxm Says:
Nov 15, 2011 - I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm just curious how you would prove, "... not every art is deadly in the right person's hands." The referees in the UFC are there by law to make sure fights are in compliance with the unified rules of MMA and to make sure fighters don't take unnecessary damage.
cheesemonkey1990 Says:
Dec 13, 2011 - does anyone else recignize this technique from Enter the Dragon? Bruce Lee used it three times when he fought Bob Wall and killed him.
TheCheungo Says:
Jan 25, 2012 - Packsaoudah is Cantonese for literally, "Smack Hand and Strike" I'm Cantonese that is how I know.

Mar 1, 2012 - Martial artists are a fucking joke
ikcjjtt Says:
Mar 10, 2012 - all of them or certain ones?
ikcjjtt Says:
Mar 10, 2012 - lyoto machida, cung lee (sanda ,sanshou), and many more tend to be exceptions as well...so many exceptions, hmmm, sounds like exceptional users to me. btw, vale tudo isnt a style. and in the early days of MMA, only one style made it-BJJ. everything else just fit in well when it came to be a sport. But i will say all this MMA humping is generally generated from guys who havnt spent a day training in a gym or a day fighting in a cage. Then they act like its the only way to fight.
ikcjjtt Says:
Mar 10, 2012 - until someone pulls out a knife, brings friends, or a gun. Then MMA just isnt all that anymore and doesnt have all the answers.
ikcjjtt Says:
Mar 10, 2012 - except weapons, multiple opponents, fire arms, different environments, self defense concepts, ect. But dont get me wrong, i love MMA, its great for fighting in a huge ass cage 1 vs 1 no weapons. too bad i never fight in those places. :/
ikcjjtt Says:
Mar 10, 2012 - so true. hell, a knive or pointy object is the next best think. No unarmed man-i dont care what he knows- can be a 12 yr old with a knife or gun. I bet money on that.
ikcjjtt Says:
Mar 10, 2012 - so true, but people r finding out, expecially in my town. MMA is great for sport, but when u cant compete, or dont want to, but need to defend yourself-its time for a different traditional way of ending fights before they even happen, even if that means using a weapon.
iApna Says:
Mar 10, 2012 - - I don't know why people don't understand that MMA is not an art but a system of training. Even the US Army uses MMA training for their troops. Krav Maga is a form of MMA in itself which includes weapons defense. MMA can be whatever you want it to be.
ikcjjtt Says:
Mar 11, 2012 - in the martial arts community,MMA generally refers to the cookie cutter combination of BJJ+ Muay thai under UFC rule set. anything else is generally called- hybrid MA, TMA, or self defense system, combatives, or something else. Many of them dont concentrate too hard on ground work, cause thats not where u want to be in a self defense situation. Its just a good idea to know what to do when u get their, even Bas Rutten says this.
ikcjjtt Says:
Mar 11, 2012 - As for tha army, thats purely attributic purposes. Having been trained by the army, and even what they say right here on youtube videos, its just to train them in warrior ethos- AKA attributes. u will never find yourself in a grappling competition 1 vs 1 in modern warefare.if u have somehow lost all of your gear, equipment, weapons, ammo, units, friends, allies, shelter, and meet someone who has lost ALL the exact stuff.u r lost and ran into a civilian.
ikcjjtt Says:
Mar 11, 2012 - "The winner of a combatives match is the guy whose friends get their with the guns first"-army and like i said, two of u wont be dumb enough to run out of and leave everything behind for a grapple match to the death. Even the ancient samurai only grappled to hold the guy down long enough for an ally to stab the guy to death.Ancient spartians only fought empty handed cause they couldnt afford a sword and shield.Guess who had the highest head count though?
BringingBackTheMan Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - Why is it every video i watch i run into experts on every subject life has to offer in the comments section? seriously they will say shit like this.... If 50 cent travelled back in time when i win lotto to make a time machine then he will fuck Bruce Lee up FACT!!!!... No your just a fuckwit, now just watch the video and stfu already, you know it all couch potatoes.

Zofirael Says:
Mar 31, 2011 - jesus a punch is a punch and a kick is a kick... jeet kune do, karate, savate whatever it's the guy throwing it that makes it deadly... some are fast, some are hard and some are both, some are devastating.
