May 25, 2012 - Peter Jackson said online that Sauron did INDEED come forward in a physical form to challenge Aragorn. They fought (the scene where he fights the troll is that. But the troll was put in place of Sauron instead) and the finish of the fight would have been his death from the ring being destroyed as was in the film.

May 25, 2012 - I'm watching this after a loooong time. I loved how Jackson made this creepy twisted guy up from the books, but I HATE how he made him die. Ridiculous, when you think Aragorn in the second movie stops Theoden from killing Grima, and now it's kind of "whatever guys, it's the end of the movies."
