Apr 29, 2012 - i'm teaching a friend who is a student in his mid twenties. today we were using a float and using a simple technique of kicking to propel himself. i am confident he will be good enough to swim with a couple more lessons. he did not feel embarrassed by using a float or whatever even though there were kids better than he is. so dont feel disheartened and get on with it.

May 1, 2012 - say this to her ill give you a freestyle lesson meaning like you can just swim or you can say ill give you a popsicle or something sweet or whatever she likes OR THE BEST ONE SAY Oh well okay im going to swim in the water alll by myself! and have soo much fun! trust me it will work! ;D then when shes in the water show her the moves! May 13, 2012 - @metalhop10 enter the pool one step at a time. After each step, relax. When you're all the way in, relax. Walk where you can reach until you feel comfortable, then push off the bottom and float. Start swimming however you want, not thinking of being afraid. I hoe this helps!

May 22, 2012 - It's okay. My friend's babysitter is 20 and she doesn't know how to ride a bike or swim! My little sister is 11 and she can't swim either but she is going to learn this summer. I suggest you get swimming lessons or ask a friend/sibling/parent to teach you how to swim.
