Oct 15, 2011 - Sondheim? Ah, well, it's not...WRONG, but...you know; he was 55 in this video. He was handsome for his age, and he still is. He rocks the beard.

Mar 2, 2012 - His explanation of "pronunciation" is a bad one, but the practice of what he means makes sense. I think he's going for a certain rhythm, adding a quick rest after the word "ought" that helps to really emphasize the word. But the issue here isn't pronunciation. People don't use two "t" sounds when they say "ought to be." I'd never recommend a musical/pop singer to (over-)pronounce like that. That's like Patti Lupone, who has no ability to phrase, so she over-pronounces every word to compensate.

Apr 29, 2012 - This woman sings this song with such a heartbreaking sincerity and honesty that it almost brings a tear to my eye. Nobody else -- not Barbara, not Judi, not Frank, not Glynis -- has ever done that for me. Who is this woman, does anyone know her identity? If I could have one wish, it would be to meet her and hear her sing in person.
