Apr 11, 2011 - Very touching poem. I must admit i'd never heard of it until I read a book by a writer called B. Tilton, who I presume is Irish. The poem is mentioned and I had to look it up. I enjoyed this book, a lot of it is actually based in Ireland and contains a good knowledge of Irish history, even the cover contains the tricolors. Aswell as the fantastic knowledge and references it is a very suspenseful novel with a great plot. I suggest everyone take a look.

I enjoy the romantic and fiery words of Pearse, he strips Irish Republicanism down to its absolute basics, and sometimes that is exactly how it should be.

May 11, 2012 - What a man, 85% of Irish people has let this man and all the others down. It is shameful to see people turn there backs on their country for money.
