Apr 12, 2011 - "Romantic Ireland is dead and gone. It's with O Leary in the grave". and that's the way it's suppose to be. We need to stop living in the past, it's dead and gone. We have a new generation of Ireland, with new problems, on a bigger scale. At least the "old enemy" was something tangible, someone to fight against. The fight on our hands today however is against greed and poverty, it's against facts and figures, these things I'm afraid, we cannot fight against and win. Be the change you want to see

Apr 18, 2011 - Remembering Patrick and all his brave comrades who gave their lives in the Easter Rising of 1916, and also those who gave their lives long beyond that, including the Hunger Strikers in 1981. I enjoy the romantic and fiery words of Pearse, he strips Irish Republicanism down to its absolute basics, and sometimes that is exactly how it should be.

Oct 19, 2011 - Where stand you then on immigration and multiculturalism, policies by EU marxists who are enforcing and enabling the new plantation and invasion of this land?
lrishNationalist Says:
Oct 19, 2011 - If we had true independence, both from Britain and the EU, we would have struck out like a fishing fleet upon the atlantic, reaping a horde quotaless but ever replenishing, from the purity of our isle and the creative freedom of our people bounteous in self esteem proud to be ourselves and like none other.

May 11, 2012 - What a man, 85% of Irish people has let this man and all the others down. It is shameful to see people turn there backs on their country for money. Its funny how people will kill for paper but pick up a gun and fight for your country and your a terrorist haha wake up people of Ireland !!! Us of all people, should not be letting greedy, self interested people run us in to the ground like a plane with no wings.WAKE UP AND BECOMING THE REPUBLIC WE SHOULD BE .

Apr 11, 2011 - Very touching poem. I must admit i'd never heard of it until I read a book by a writer called B. Tilton, who I presume is Irish. The poem is mentioned and I had to look it up. I enjoyed this book, a lot of it is actually based in Ireland and contains a good knowledge of Irish history, even the cover contains the tricolors. Aswell as the fantastic knowledge and references it is a very suspenseful novel with a great plot. I suggest everyone take a look.
