"Power and Control: Domestic Violence in America" is a new documentary film about domestic abuse. The film offers a probing and intimate exploration of the troubling persistence of violence against women in America. The recent economic crisis has contributed to a sharp increase in domestic violence around the country. This 10 minute video is an excerpt from the film, which is premiering at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival, April 18, 4:45 p.m., at the St. Anthony Main Theater.

May 5, 2012 - There have been studies going back as far as 1985 concluding that women perpetuate it at equal rates as men, and that rate dramatically increased as time went on.There are so many studies now that its becoming nearly impossible for the media to pretend they do not exist.

My mum literally moved us to another country. it was awful, overwhelming and we felt like we couldn't stick it out. but over time we learned to adapt to a life there. please don't feel like you have no where to go, please message me, I will help you
