Apr 5, 2012 - it is actually really good for you its called matcha and is the best know antioxidant the second best is pomegranate but it is about 4 time more beneficial. Its starting to come over here now i have seen it in Teaopia and other specialty tea shops. I haven't tryed it but i really want to it is fairly expensive about 30 dollars for a 30 gram tin in Canada. Its a type of green tea though just ground up not to weird considering we have tea bags and lose leaf just another extension

Apr 8, 2012 - This and 1 other video are the best tea ceremony vids on utube. Joy Mari is a joy to watch but the editing could be improved in both vids. Interesting to note that Joy Mari is the only one with the 'snapping napkin' technique. Nice touch. :) Thanks alot for this to all concerned.

Apr 8, 2012 - Update - ok, just found another lady who does a 'snapping napkin' Not quite so snappy as Joy's but still snappy :) And some do the 'finger fold', running the finger to make a fold mark in the napkin before folding it. And I also noticed Joy Mari does two taps of the 'spoon' after putting in the tea, many others do 1 only. Guess your personal syle comes forward as you become more expert in the practice.
