May 31, 2010 - Is this a hub motor or a chain drive assembly? Thanks and well done.

smorrismlbco Says:

May 31, 2010 - The motor is a Perm PMG132 mounted in the frame. There is an intermediate chain reduction and final chain drive.

Jan 31, 2011 - Hey, nice Project.Could you please give me some information about how you managed to run the Perm PMG 123 at 90V DC.It would also be very interesting to me, which explicid motor controller you are using. Thx a lot, greez Marci

smorrismlbco Says:

Feb 1, 2011 - We used an Alltrax 450 A controller which is limited to 90 V. You can run the motor at this high voltage if you don't overheat it. It's all about cooling.
