We used saw dust and sometimes sprayed oil or graphite grease on the forgings so it wouldnt stick. but now we have respiratory ailments because of it. We also had head-gear with ear protection from the noise. To each his own I guess...brought back alot of memories.

Also, if that glove catches on something, it will take your hand with it and whoosh! Gone. There was a guy who was too close to a wood chipper.
