Apr 26, 2012 - What an amazing voice! Such a sad thing to know that she's gone.

trefoil123 Says:

Apr 26, 2012 - It's sad that Phoebe is no longer with us and that her years on earth were such difficult ones. Poetry Man is the personification of a certain individual all of us knew in our younger days. Phoebe brought him to life. Just like him, Phoebe will never really be gone.

Jazmihn1 Says:

Apr 28, 2012 - I just found her again. I haven't heard anything by her in years. I do remember that this was one of my favorites by her. I miss her music so much. She is truly one of God's angels.

Apr 29, 2012 - Phoebe will live forever with this song; a TIMELESS CLASSIC!

boogins000 Says:

Apr 30, 2012 - She had Tremendous command of that huge voice and the timing found in only a few of the great Jazz singers like Ella or Billie Holiday. The ability to be slightly ahead or behind the tempo adds so much to the "color" and dramatic presence of the arrangement. Most performers today simply don't have the raw talent to sound as "Polished" or have studied the greats that preceded them as she obviously had...

OneHitWonderGuy Says:

May 27, 2012 - Reading her biography, she cared for mentally impaired daughter, which almost cost her her career, woooooowwww what an amazing women, Pheobe I satute you. David from New Zealand

FlaschDJ Says:

May 27, 2012 - I don't know if you can see it - but Phoebe is defiant here. She was a MONSTER of a talent and all the boys down on Madison Avenue wanted to pretty her up and make her like Christine Aguilera (or however it spells it's name). But Phoebe wasn't having it. Her personal life was too sacred and her talent too gigantic.See her guitar playing. Looks simple. It's a tricky little riff in drop D tuning. Oh my Lord! You were the real article. I miss you Phoebe. Thank you. You beat Brittany.
