Jun 22, 2008 - I saw the band at a gig at Loughton College in about 1969. Changed so many ideas I had about music. I think I could get a flash back just listening to this!

Jan 21, 2009 - Mel's slide pipes can be heard to the full on Dragon Lines - apparently they were made with old inner-tubes. The high sound is most likely Coff on a violin...

Mar 11, 2011 - Absolutely - you've really caught the mood, the spirit, the ethos of this extraordinary music by one of the all-time great bands.I just wonder who the two tin-eared/visually impaired/aesthetically challenged idiots (so far) are who DIDN'T like this!

lukethebelgian Says:

Hirudinaceous Says:

Mar 30, 2012 - Structure is not a dirty word in music. Yes, deliberately freaky, trippy, call it what you like. Maybe because I play myself I recognise there is structure in this piece so I'm not persuaded they were just jumping on the bandwaggon of the Prog Rock gold rush. Couldn't blame them anyway, especially when the morons took over and music dumbded down again for ever. Compared to progressive music the music of today's single and album charts is an affront to human intelligence.

Hirudinaceous Says:

Mar 30, 2012 - 8ths,6ths, bottom note moves up a semi-tone for wierd atonal effect.
