Jul 6, 2011 - I watched this expecting it to be terrible, so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was just mediocre. The story was ridiculous, but the special effects were good and I was more interested in the moral questions raised by the authorities' handling of the crisis. It's so true that the wealthy and powerful would save themselves and leave everyone else to die. Anyway, I would describe this movie best as the hideously deformed lovechild of The Day After Tomorrow and Atlas Shrugged.

Apr 2, 2012 - Why all the hate?I just finished watching it now and I enjoyed the film thoroughly. I don't give a shit if you think John Cusack sucks as an actor, it was entertaining. It never made me bored watching it, as there were alot of intense moments with interesting characters and not forgetting the touching moments. Not sure what all of your problems are, it made me think about life that much more... I'd give it a 8/10.
