Mar 4, 2012 - The brighter side of his face represents his youth, his feeling of being still young inside, while his darker side represents his oldness, his whole life! this song make you love everything!!!

Mar 8, 2012 - This band was an atrocity and really typifies a civilization utterly lost to the intangible grasp of music. To me, I instantly know this is mediocre. It's like talking to colorblind people and trying to tell them a particular shirt and tie don't belong together. You can exhaust yourself and make no inroads. This is what happens in a mommy culture. We're all equal so we need a soundtrack that literally ANYONE could've written. Drop the bombs and let's start over.

Mar 9, 2012 - I look forward to hearing your no doubt brilliant band in this case, after all if ANYONE can write this then I assume you have written and recorded something superior, otherwise how could you know...
cobaltjones Says:
Mar 10, 2012 - And you shall. Until then, happy days.

Mar 19, 2012 - cobaltjones makes me laugh. I never really paid attention to REM for some reason. Didn't even know they broke up late last year. Not sure how I stumbled onto this song, but I was completely mesmerized from the first chorus. I listened to a dozen or so other REM songs on YT and now I'm utterly hooked...how in the friggin' world did I miss these guys?

Mar 19, 2012 - Timeless music is a masculine authority. Feminine defense against this is praising tepid social music. Patriarchy is divine authority celebrating objective excellence of achievement. Matriarchy is a tyranny with an egalitarian skin, in which everyone starves spiritually while being smug and nurtured materially. This is not misogyny, but reality. When asked what Stipe thought of the Beatles, he said he liked Yummy Yummy Yummy I've got Love in My Tummy. This is disrespecting the father.
cobaltjones Says:
Mar 20, 2012 - For some reason? Because you still had a grain of soul left, and then that last grain died and you were assimilated.

Mar 21, 2012 - @cobaltjones That's terrifying. I hope you are wrong.

Apr 7, 2012 - If you're going to say something weird about R.E.M., make sure it makes more sense than Murmur, would ya?

Apr 28, 2012 - John Giorno, Andy Warhol's close mate and subject of his picture "SLEEP", seen here in what appears to be an homage to that film (can someone verify that is why this video was made?) has meant a lot to me. I found it fascinating when he was working with Debbie Harry and other major celebrities in the 1980's that he actually kept his name in the phone book and loved to chat. He answered all fan mail and was warm, open and gracious. He even invited me to come visit him. Can't help but love John.

May 2, 2012 - There is a wiki for the song that seems to support what you're asking. can't seem to link it here though
ATrackCalled Says:
May 16, 2012 - This song was, for my part, the soundtrack of my mom's final days and her passing, last week, Wednesday. Not sure if it made everything easier or even more difficult - its simple, heartfelt lyrics, the bittersweet melody and Michael's devastatingly beautiful singing. I just know that i can't listen to it all the way through without starting to cry."..i'll write our story in my mind.."...RIP mom.
