But I agree that DD2K was not up to par with the original show... mostly because the higher-ups were trying to make it perfect and didn't just let it flow naturally like Summers and crew did.

Mar 9, 2009 - this is went nickelodeon did not suck and this is went nickelodeon was worth watching it a had good nicktoons, good game show and good comedy show back from nickelodeon 90s were so happy and excited but look what kids watch today on nickelodeon today it's sucks now I feel bad for kids today kids today have no idea how nickelodeon from the 90s were super happy and excitedwish double dare is back and the same host cause if that happen every kids will like it better than they watch today

Mar 16, 2009 - I agree that the 80s and 90s were better than today's Nick programming by a long shot. But then, our parents grew up on Saturday morning cartoons and looked at Double Dare as disgusting, useless television. So, I mean, keep it all in perspective!That being said, kids today are dumbed down, celebrity-obsessed, and impatient. Even Double Dare 2000 and My Family's Got GUTS couldn't hold their attention for more than two seasons. I doubt the original show would interest them; it's too intelligent!

Jul 31, 2010 - The banana boat incident at :35 was funny, but I felt that it was unjust that they didn't stop the clock and start over, especially with the physical challenge only having a 15-second time limit.

Aug 2, 2010 - I agree. I think it was a mistake in how the banana was wheeled out from backstage - you can tell that they're trying to push it forward and the wheels were just turned wrong. However, I honestly believe the producers thought it was the contestants' mistake, in which case Marc and the producers shouldn't have been helping them at all. Just one of those things that we notice as fans that could never have been caught as easily while on the set!
