May 11, 2012 - This is why I abhor discs. Not only do the discs themselves get scratched so much they eventually become unreadable, the disc readers are also delicate pieces of shit! Cartridges are the future!

May 12, 2012 - I finally got a working replacement, but yeah, discs are a nightmare (at least when bought used). The reader is the real problem, though! If you buy an older console based on discs and its likely to work poorly/have limited life left :( I bought a Dreamcast and it gets DRE's constantly, while my Atari 2600 is as good as new! Cardtridges ftw :D
