Apr 10, 2012 - She has a similar gift to Mozart's in that she pictures entire musical compositions in her mind and can hold them there forever. She also has music come to her out of her unconscious, fully formed. Almost all composers have to labor over music, trying various phrases, changing, retrying, correcting... She does it all directly and does not change a note, as Mozart did. But I think she has more understanding of musical complexities at an earlier age.

Apr 17, 2012 - It's a bit unsettling to see a tiny child, still so innocent, barely grasping basic math skills, talking in the same way other little children do, yet composing such brilliantly sophisticated music, playing her own and other serious composers' work with a depth of feeling and emotion that adult pianists would envy. This age is when she played the entire Mozart 23rd Piano Concerto in front of a full orchestra, from memory, and played it beautifully, stunningly! How the heck do you explain that??

May 3, 2012 - If she was able to write anything without the use of repetitive, trite and poorly constructed chord progressions and rhythmic devices, she might be worth noting. When she is able to compose intuitive counterpoint (as many composition students below the age of 10 do) she can, perhaps, make something of herself.
