Aug 13, 2011 - Not a bad achievement......but bear in mind.......Carlos Hathcock was using a scope fitted Browning M2 machine gun, and his target was aiming back at him. The M2 is much more difficult to hold on target than a Tac-50. The 10X Unertl scope Hathcock used wasn't up to the same standards as Furlong's 25x Leupold either. That said, all of these records have now been broken by Britain's Corp. Craig Harrison of the "Household Cavalry". That's proof.... With newer weapons, anything's possible.
