I said "wow". Because we were standing on the eastern side of the roadway we couldn't see the ship as it approached very well. When it did pass, the full length and size became apparent and we were all awestruck. You can see more photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/lohphat/sets/72157594518183433/BTW, I remember when the QM1 came into Long Beach (my hometown) for the last time in 1967 to be moored where she stands today.

Nov 18, 2011 - Cunard Line has decided to reflag RMS Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth to Bermuda. The ships will therefore loose the British Merchant Marine flag and Southampton Registry. I think that this is a huge mistake and a betrayal of Cunard's legendary history.
