The choir program had a $200 budget from our PTA. The rest came from parent donations, fund raisers and program ads. That boggles my mind.@redpill1984 no, just a concert. thos are just for fun.im the choir director's son.senzog-My son did a lot to promote the video and helped it on its viral path. I gained a lot of respect for him. It means a lot to a dad to have your 17 year old son admit he belongs to you. He was also the inspiration for the Radiohead video.COOLEST. CHOIR DIRECTOR. EVER.dantastic202-This is quite humbling. Having been a geek all my life, when people said this kind of thing I couldn't believe it. This is wonderful and I wish that one day my child will be in a choir this coolRSTStop780-I hope that the constant cuts to public education do not remove the opportunities for children to participate in programs like this. We live in such a politicized world that if we speak out for the things we believe in the other side does not seek to criticize, but to destroy. It doesn't matter which side of the political fence you are on.

May 20, 2012 - Thanks but take it easy on Bieber. It is actually quite helpful to have a boy with an unchanged voice achieve some popularity. There aren't many vocal models for my elementary aged kids. I still use recordings of a boy named Billy Gilman who was popular many years ago.

May 21, 2012 - THIS IS AWESOME! Words cannot describe how awesome this is. As a person that was in chorus for a long time and was left with a bitter taste in my mouth when my last chorus teacher was so forceful about religious material being included and proclaimed in a public school when i was not of that religion, this is so refreshing, and i cannot believe it made it to recital. This is wonderful.

If you do not by now know the difference between the words "terrible" and "treble" I firmly think that your school failed you far more than the one featured has failed their pupils. They took a beautiful and topical song, ideal for a choir and let the school sing it.. Problem? Or is it just too treble for you? Perhaps you actually meant "treble" but I think that all of the kids are still in the soprano range because of their ages..

May 20, 2012 - I'm finally back to making videos. My school choir just covered Cloud Cult's Chemicals Collide. We added an audience generated rainstorm as an intro. It should be up tomorrow. Then this summer my community children's choir will be working on an original song for Minecraft. That will be the start of regular videos including video game, anime and other memes. The choir is called Children's Choir of Teh Internet.
