His choice in romantic partners does not take away from the fact that he was a revolutionary/amazing musician and a groundbreaking person.Furthermore, as much as I dislike Yoko, I don't really think she broke them up. I think if YOU knew everything about The Beatles, you wouldn't be so petty as to say Yoko broke them up.

May 23, 2012 - I didn't say it was her fault, I said in my opinion it was as much his fault as it was the Yoko's. After all it was John who quit the band you know. And if you didn't know that Lennon was a dead beat father and before that he would beat his girlfriends. If that makes an amazing person in your eyes than thats fine. Lennon made amazing music but he had flaws much to large to ignore.

May 24, 2012 - he was a bitter drunk yes and he did neglect julian (even though later in his life he tried to make amend but died before he could) however he's touched so many people with his music those two things really aren't enough to say he was bad because it's not like he constantly beat yoko, sean, cynthia or julian while this doesn't excuse it when he did it's probably from the fact that he had a very troubled childhood

John put her in the studio and used her as a wedge because he didn't have the heart to tell Paul straight-out that he was breaking up the band. The band that HE started.Everything good must end. All things must pass. The Beatles couldn't go on forever until they were all 80 with missing teeth. They knew when it was the right time to end it. Paul never wanted it to end, but John and George knew it was time.
