May 12, 2012 - Slash may very well have a Les Paul from Joe Perry (lord knows he has a metric ton of old-school guitars owned by famous players) but the guitar in the video above was given to Slash by G'n'R's manager who purchased it for him from Kris Derry after his B.C. Rich Mockingbird (stolen on the AFD tour, but had a repro made that you can see in the "You Could Be Mine" video) wasn't cutting it in the studio while recording "AFD" Google "Slash" & "Kris Derring" and you'll see my info is backed-up...

WELL after the recording of "Appetite For Destruction" in '86-early '87. So Slash & Perry simply didn't know each other at that time. Secondly, as Slash has been "Officially" endorsing Gibson/Epiphone guitars & has had numerous Signature "Slash Les Paul" models to his name since 1997, it's simply not good business to talk about a *copy* that is his favorite recording guitar.
