Title: Beatles - All I've Got To Do (Original)

Added: Jan 14, 2011

Author: Nocaro

Duration: 2:3

Description:
"All I've Got To Do" was recorded on Sep. 11, 1963 and introduced to U.S. audiences with the release of the album "Meet The Beatles" in January of 1964. Although the song is credited to both Lennon and McCartney, this is one that John Lennon wrote solo. Several music critics claim this recording contains the first instance in rock history where the bass player plays chords as an integral part of the song.

We have recorded just a handful of tunes and you can listen to our newest by typing 'Sister Insane' in the search bar. There's no harm in giving a couple minutes of your youtube surf. enjoy

Apr 25, 2012 - You're mistaken! Only in the first one or two albums did they do covers. After that, it was strictly their own music

May 6, 2012 - very observant....but the Zombies would have borrowed that little riff from the Beatles...way before the Zombies.."Time of the Season"....funny how the Zombies song I just mentioned actually holds true today...."What's your name....who's your Daddy"...very appropriate for todays culture...LOL

May 11, 2012 - Their early stuff is so rough and emotional with such incredible harmonies. Lennon's voice still gives chills. The dawn of rock music.

May 13, 2012 - When this came out it was miles ahead of other lightweight pap that was being done by other artists. It was so sophisticated that no one had gotten there yet. These guys were geniuses even at this early date.

May 17, 2012 - Lennon's voice I think lost it's power after 66/67. It was never as strong as it was in these great early years. He had his moments though

genericgeorge Says:

May 17, 2012 - The description of this vid is spot on. Maccas bass chords as well as George's tone really set this song apart from anything else of the time.

May 18, 2012 - I love this song. Should be up there along with please please me.

Revolutioncasino Says:

May 20, 2012 - He had some excitement in the early years for sure. But so did Elvis and he, like John found a more mature (older) way of doing things, IMO. But Imagine and several songs off of D.Fantasy told me he still had it in him. Rock N Roll was just his new beginning IMO. He still related to Roy and Elvis and Buddy Holly...even in the 80's.
