cfarkass Says:
Apr 6, 2012 - Don't lose hope, I thinkit can happen.
danslatente Says:
Apr 6, 2012 - LOL. That's why I'm moving to Australia
tiikaran Says:
Apr 7, 2012 - Perhaps, but *closest* to Paul doesn't mean he'd necessarily like voting for him. Paul is suspiciously silent about his positions on abortion, gay marriage, the death penalty and the NRA. Frank Zappa may have been a defender of the rights of free assembly and free speech, but I seriously doubt his attitudes toward women and minorities would have been out of step with the liberal line. Constitutional/economic 'soft' conservatives have nowhere to go turn right now thanks to social fascism.
slickvguy Says:
Apr 8, 2012 - Well, he got the fascist part right. It just isn't a theocracy. And he'd be stunned to find out it's coming from the left more so than the right.
metamorphosis67 Says:
Apr 8, 2012 - Shut up clown. Carlin was an intellectual who could talk about any subject outside of comedy just like Zappa. Only average 16 year old intellect here is yours, dufus.
jkovert Says:
Apr 8, 2012 - Neither Zappa nor Carlin ever uttered anything remotely resembling intellectual sophistication.
metamorphosis67 Says:
Apr 8, 2012 - What's all this BS about Hitler ? Hitler kicked the banksters out of Germany, something that Ron Paul proposes to do but hasn't done. Hitler issued interest free money, banned freemasonary, banned kosher torture of animals, almost doubled the national income in 5 years while completely eliminating unemployment & inflation. Germans laid down 5000 miles of Autobahn while inventing the Jet engine, the helicopter, first programmable computer, night vision technology, etc. an ecnomic miracle.
SubliminalAttraction Says:
Apr 8, 2012 - He was so right! And now it is too late!
Ricktpt1 Says:
Apr 13, 2012 - Yep. But the first person to get the finger from Zappa would probably be Ron Paul because the ONLY corporatism he seems to oppose is the Military Industrial complex. He's anti-regulation, which is government's function to keep Corpratism in check. We should be using both to keep the other in check and Paul thinks that anarchical "Wild West" every man for himself Libertarianism will rule the day. It won't. (It degrades into feudalism, see AGES, Middle) And that's why he's losing.
illuminatioracle Says:
Apr 17, 2012 - no dumbass. competition and lack lack of government assistance keep corporatism in check. people are the ultimate deciders of a company's fate. if bank of america was truly private and people started pulling their money out after learning about all their scuzzy nickel and dime schemes in the form of penalties, bank of america would be fucked. but this is not the case now since they get tax money 'bailouts' from uncle obama, keeping a failed business alive.
Ricktpt1 Says:
Apr 17, 2012 - You can't find your ass with both hands. If you had a chronic illness you'd no how full of crap you actually are.
Ricktpt1 Says:
Apr 17, 2012 - The Nazi party (Socialist was STUCK in the party's name AFTER Hitler's failed coup attempt against the Kaiser to take the stink off of the party) was a RIGHT WING NATIONALIST military movement. Take a step away from the wacky weed and (if nothing else, watch the History Channel even THEY get it right) dig into the details. Ron Paul's right about "soft fascism" but it's HIS party that's driving it.
Ricktpt1 Says:
Apr 17, 2012 - Listen to "When the Lie's So Big" and "The San Clemente Magnetic Deviation" (in fact the entirety of "Broadway the Hardway" because he laid Democrats low as well) but he knew WHICH side was towing the neo-fascist party line and it's NOT the Democrats. Frank Zappa was NO FRIEND to Republicans. (Thank God.) Ron Paul is just appealing to post punk anarchy fetishists and Ayn Rand Free Market sycophants.
illuminatioracle Says:
Apr 18, 2012 - Wow. what a compelling counter argument: an insult. But then again, it's the ol' collectivist liberal trick, when you have nothing to defend your argument with, make a personal attack. I'm not searching for dumbass songs or clips you reference. I want to hear it from you what your counter argument is. And by the way, in Zappa's autobiography, he defined himself as a "practical conservative." Take a fucking hike with your support for a tired, barbaric ideology wielded by kings and pharaohs.
TheBigMclargehuge Says:
Apr 18, 2012 - Yeah.. Except Ron Paul is an evolution denying christian wingnut.
TheBigMclargehuge Says:
Apr 18, 2012 - Excuse me, slander is not implicitly a liberal trick.
believr77 Says:
Apr 21, 2012 - Ron Paul = TruthA Living Founder
LikeThaicom Says:
Apr 22, 2012 - Frank Zappa saw it coming already 1986...
sheao1 Says:
Apr 22, 2012 - FUCK MITT ROMNEY , EVERYBODY HAS TO VOTE FOR RON PAUL
Whybother123 Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - Yep.
sheepOG Says:
Apr 26, 2012 - I notice people are still trying to speak for a dead man. Nobody knows who he would've voted for. And it doesn't matter. What matters is that libertarianism is ignored and slandered, both left and right. Authoritarianism and statism are constantly promoted. Libertarianism is peace. Statism is war.
theoriginaljeffro Says:
May 8, 2012 - Paul/Zappa in 2012! Uh... wait... shit.
kellysonallison Says:
May 12, 2012 - Why do people disregard the fact that Ron Paul is prejudice against outside cultures? He may vouch for some great implementations in our ailing government, but how do we just disregard his views of a specific ethnicity? Also, he is homophobic and wants to do away with abortion. He also called former Klan members insightful beings, in their own right. Oh, but I'm sure we should bypass all this, right?

bevon17 Says:
Apr 5, 2012 - OKso whos country do we flee to?
