Feb 11, 2012 - I have turned procrastination into a weapon that gets work one better.

Mar 19, 2012 - So, I've been watching lots of vlogbrothers videos in no order other than whatever YouTube suggests off to the side, and this is the first time in almost a year of me doing this that I've found one of the Maureen ones! I knew they existed. <3 However, first thing I noticed: She doesn't blink. Just like John. @.@ You both are crazy, that can't be good for your eyes.

Apr 2, 2012 - "Every author I know is that teenager who sat in their room and read and wrote." That is quite honestly the most reassuring thing I have ever heard; most of my time is spent sitting in my room and reading and writing.

SluggerTeethForever Says:

Apr 6, 2012 - This is really late, but maybe Maureen Johnson or John Green will randomly be going through these comments again. But I wanted to know what to do after you write a book. I recently wrote a book, it finally has a begining, middle, and end, and now I've started the editing process, which is obnoxious. But I do want to get it published one day, and besides editing more, what can I do to make that dream a reality?

ZephyrusSmiles Says:

Apr 10, 2012 - Start going to conventions. There are panels and seminars where you get to meet editors and writers and publisher and ask them.. in person! Networking is key. You need to pimp your work. Be positive but not too full of yourself. Go forth and pimp, dear author. PIMP

Apr 16, 2012 - I am 13 and I'm writing a book. I've done all the book-y things, like my friend volunteered to be on the cover and we did a photo shoot and stuff. I'm still writing it and my goal is at least 50,000 words. I am 20,000 words in. I don't even want to become an author, really. Or get published. I just want to write a book for fun and be like, yeah, this is a thing I did :)

marebear1215 Says:

Apr 18, 2012 - MAUREEN. why you no vlog??

pbjellybeanful Says:

Apr 20, 2012 - Have you finished the book? If so how was it?!

pbjellybeanful Says:

Apr 20, 2012 - I'm 14 and I did NaNoWriMo, but i didn't finish. I got to 33,000 words, but it was really fun writing it even though no one's going to read it! I agree, i love writing books for fun :)

bellacullen98a Says:

Apr 20, 2012 - You should finish it anyway! Who cares in NaNoWriMo is over? Yeah it is really fun, especially since I have my friends who support me and offer their opinion on what I'm writing and stuff :D

pbjellybeanful Says:

Apr 20, 2012 - I think mainly the reason i didn't finish is because i didn't have an interesting story to begin with. I might finish it, but it's wicked boring at the moment. I'll change it a bit, but I'm working on another project which is writing a script for a show I'm obsessed with :)

bellacullen98a Says:

Apr 21, 2012 - Yeah :) All writing is rewriting,

RiskyBrothers Says:

Apr 22, 2012 - "If you don't like sitting in a little roo, you shouldn't be an author"well, 2-3 times a year, I go on an 18 hour drive from Texas to Tennessee to Michigan, and back. with only my laptop and some movies to entertain me. I like my chances

bugwitch Says:

Apr 23, 2012 - Procrastination...I haven't really devoted a lot of time to that yet. I'll work on it soon.

YahagiSheibi Says:

Apr 25, 2012 - Lewis Carroll was a math professor and was tricked into giving up the manuscript to Alice's Adventure in Wonderland... That why I want to be the leading Lewis Carroll official. And an author.... And I sit in my bathroom... the littlest room in my house... and thats where I think the best...

MidnightFlower13 Says:

Apr 28, 2012 - 3:02 I can check that one off the list...But I'll do it later.

xcamillax6 Says:

May 7, 2012 - heh that was Anna and the French Kiss! My friend (who is also a nerdfighter) told me to read it and I saw Maureen''s blurb and I was like "oh Maureen..." BUT THAT BOOK IS AWESOME.
