I recently wrote a book, it finally has a begining, middle, and end, and now I've started the editing process, which is obnoxious. But I do want to get it published one day, and besides editing more, what can I do to make that dream a reality?

I'm still writing it and my goal is at least 50,000 words. I am 20,000 words in. I don't even want to become an author, really. Or get published. I just want to write a book for fun and be like, yeah, this is a thing I did :)

Apr 20, 2012 - I'm 14 and I did NaNoWriMo, but i didn't finish. I got to 33,000 words, but it was really fun writing it even though no one's going to read it! I agree, i love writing books for fun :)

Apr 20, 2012 - I think mainly the reason i didn't finish is because i didn't have an interesting story to begin with. I might finish it, but it's wicked boring at the moment. I'll change it a bit, but I'm working on another project which is writing a script for a show I'm obsessed with :)
