Jun 19, 2007 - This is the original from Richard Regan (RZR) made in 1986 when the raiders moved there. It was displayed on Tv in the news as sent in by an anonymous raider fan welcoming them to Los Angles.

Oct 8, 2007 - I saw it, and i said instantly "that's richard, Mr. R Z R". That's the kind of talent he was. the man of a thousand faces and talents. i worked with Richard for many years on various projects and found him to be a one and only. I miss him dearly.Chuck Martin voice over/ad agency

Mar 6, 2008 - Truth be told - this was not produced or directed by RZR but he did star in it. And it was not for the Raiders. That's the story that Fred Roggin on KNBC pushed per RZR. Those of us who know the real story will keep it to ourselved. It was fun though.

shortkiller Says:

Mar 6, 2008 - You guys have it wrong about who produced this and why. It really is quite a story. But that's okay - those of us who were responsible know the true story. I miss RZR too.

protrainer4u Says:

Mar 14, 2008 - Actually, RZR co-produced and co-directed this video. He also wrote the lyrics, and performed in the video. Correct, it wasn't written for the Raiders but it was sent to Fred Roggin from a Raider's fan--hey it fit the bill. Bottom line, this video would NEVER have been made without the genius and many talents of RZR. I miss him very much.

Mar 15, 2008 - Actually, the video was conceived and directed by another staff producer of the in-house production unit of Home Savings. Richard did do the lyrics and perform. The rest I will leave uncorrected to protect the innocent. Is this RZR?

protrainer4u Says:

Mar 15, 2008 - No. RZR died in 2002 from pancreatic cancer. My facts are correct. I know the names of everyone involved. I just wanted to correct the record and make sure whoever sees this will know that it was RZR's creative genius that made this happen. HE conceived it, wrote it, sang & performed it; his name was not linked to co-producing & co-directing it because it was supposed to be a "team effort" & not give him all the credit. I know because I was there when it was conceived.

shortkiller Says:

Mar 15, 2008 - My condolences. I did not know Richard had passed on. He was a very talented and unique person. And this was and still is one of my favorite videos from that timeframe. I stand corrected on your recall of the effort behind the video. And I'm glad someone posted this video for the world to see.

May 11, 2009 - I am so glad that this video is available for people to see. Richard and I were married during the early to late 70's. He was a very intelligent, talented and good person. He never received the recognition or opportunities he deserved. He also wrote a lot of fine music in his earlier days and hopefully that will be available to people some day. Our son and I miss him being on the planet. MRM

Jun 18, 2009 - I, too, am glad people can see what a great talent my darling Richard was. He was my husband for 14 years and this month marks what would have been our 21st wedding anniversary. I miss his quick wit and all of the characters he used to act out for me and others. He certainly never received the proper recognition for his great talent....but he lived his life to the fullest....I was blessed that he chose me to share it with. I miss you, sweet Richard, and I will love you always.

Jan 9, 2010 - Wow, this brings back memories! Over the years I got to work a lot with the creative teams behind this video, and I miss the zaniness and fun that went into the annual 'President's Club" productions as well. Through working with him over the years, I also became a friend of RZR, and I was glad to have had a chance to reconnect shortly before his passing a few years ago. Kudos to RZR, and to the "K-Man", for this inspired production. Thanks for posting. I hope all's well, Portia. HAVEN! ;-)
