I think the equal to the Nikon D5100 is the Canon 600D, which I use, because I liked the Body of the Canon better.If both seem to be equal to you, you might think of somebody of your friends or family, who has already a Nikon or Canon and some lenses, which you can borrow some time.At the same prices Canon and Nikon are quite equal.

First time i've actually learned something on Youtube. Will be sure to carry copies of rules and regs next time I travel. Excellent advice. Seems like they have a really good team going on there too.And a bottle of beer while talking cameras... Dudes...!

Apr 5, 2012 - The negative aspects in question would be affected very little by the bit rate. Notice the random exposure settings used for each camera, which is inconsistent. Use of extreme - angles in a basic dialogue interview set. No, youtube's compression would have nothing to do with these issues.
