Apr 24, 2012 - I don't know where this "kertesz tamas" comes from, this is not the first time I've heard it... but he was born as Bernard Schwartz, and in the Bronx. His parents were Hungarian jews, and they were actually born in Hungary... so the native language of Tony Curtis was probably also Hungarian, but in his first movies he actually had problems because he had a Bronx accent (although this is nothing special since even kids in their teens usually master the language of their host country w/o an accent
