I feel sorry for them, for they will never understand what it's like to be truly passionate about music. They don't know that feeling of ecstasy that you get when you become fully immersed in it. I love classical, classic rock, soul, folk, etc, but when I talk about it to other teenagers, they give me a weird look and proceed to talk about Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus. And it's embarrassing. Being a 16 year old girl and not being into anything that other teenagers are into is hard. It really is. But it's a sacrifice I'm more than glad to take.
