But Christians, who ARE the church, are here to glorify God, witness to others, and help lead each other in Christ and hold each other accountable. May 8, 2012 - Aside from the fact that you're disregarding anyone's freedom to dedicate this song to anyone they want (the Church is the faithful), you're putting too much emphasis on the separation of God and the Church. I don't know if it's a popular opinion to think that being a member of a Church is hypocritical, but what I do know is that God established a Church through Christ. The Church has been mentioned many times in scripture, so why take it away from God?
