You won't believe your fingers and ears. The ultimate in high-performance electric guitars, this premium model has an ultrasmooth, sweet neck with hand-rolled edges to make it play fast, smooth, and sweet. SCN (Samarium Cobalt Noiseless) pickups dish out vintage Strat sounds without the hum, while a hot bridge pickup and S-1 switching provide versatility, extra punch, and sustain. Classically contoured ash body fits like a glove. Other features include polished chrome, locking machine heads, American Deluxe tremolo with polished steel saddles, highly detailed fret and nut work, abalone dot inlays, and aged plastic parts.

thomaswni Says:

Feb 8, 2012 - I love that sound, so Mark Knopfler-ish

who8allthepies Says:

Feb 16, 2012 - they must have changed the pickguard from 2008 on. as the 2007 sienna deluxe strat had a pearloid pickguard and would guess all usa deluxe sienna bodies are ash, correct me of i am wrong.

who8allthepies Says:

Feb 16, 2012 - thats strange all usa deluxe strats have the satin laquer applied and then the frets are polished to removed the laquer , i no the old standard usa strats from 2006 the left the laquer on frets and over time it blistered so you needed the frets polished. but your right deluxe should have polished frets , your paying good money for this strat and that should be as standard.

Feb 16, 2012 - thanks for the in depth reply.. thats what i thought! it should kick ass right out of the case!alas, i am over seas and have to put my trust in the salesman thats gonna sned it fomr the US.. it sounds amazing though, i just thought there shouldnt be any laquer on the frets.. it had a dull sound for the first yr until i figured it out. uh

dedetube Says:

Feb 17, 2012 - is the modern C neck shape similar to the '#1b' neck shape of G&L which lists as 0.790" at 1st fret and 0.910 at 12th???

slashesnakepit Says:

Feb 19, 2012 - can anyone tell me if the tremolo action is good for this guitar? i havn't seen any reviews where they demonstrate it

NstuffMusic Says:

Feb 29, 2012 - You can set the trem up for what ever you want to do...from a slight vibrato effect to a bit more extreme styles...or just flatten it against the body so you really don't have to use it. i wouldn't recommend it for hard core dive bombing.

NstuffMusic Says:

Feb 29, 2012 - It's hard to tell with having a G&L to compare to...The neck profile could be a little different.

TheSwilliams92 Says:

Mar 1, 2012 - With warm/fat pickup combination swamp ash sounds unbelievable tonally.

May 17, 2012 - i had a 1999 with LSR roller-nut (HSS) and it always stayed in tuned after moderate tremolo use.

May 20, 2012 - does swamp ash have strong bass frequencies? if not can u tell me which wood does?

NstuffMusic Says:

May 21, 2012 - Swamp Ash sound a little brighter. You may want to go with a Alder body Strat is will sound darker.

XxicruffesionalxX Says:

May 21, 2012 - no but alder has no character.. its just 2 even... ill go with hard ash!!... plus swamp ash has an aggressive sound
