May 20, 2010 - the reason talking to your plants helps is because of the co2 you're breathing out

May 23, 2010 - "Talking to your blueberry bushes"??? How about this important advice you didn't mention: Blueberries HAVE to have a pollinator - meaning you need to plant at least two different varieties. I think "high bush" types don't necessarily though. Also, birds love them, too, so you do have to watch for that.
CoastalLifestyles Says:
May 25, 2010 - Love it! There are so many varieties are available, what grows best in New England.. full sun always? partail shade? .I'm in Rhode Island, very close to you. Yes, plants breath in carbon dioxide in the way that we do oxygen. Talking to them provides our exhaled carbon dioxide for them to breath.

May 27, 2012 - I didn't know it was so easy to grow blueberries. They may bear fruit, but DARN - THE BIRDS. i just bought a new bush last night and early this morning the birds already ate the first blueberry. Strawberries too, I spent the day trying to make netting over them so I actually get to eat some myself.
