May 12, 2012 - Actually it was 2 weeks. But I was on methadone for 2 years and that poison binds u up! Now It's been about 5 weeks and I have tons of energy, sleep is great, and I exercise every day. Suppliments like vitamins, minerals, fish oils, diet change and amino acids helped tremendously. That is the cure for addiction, which is very hard to find. I now weigh 174, from 210 just a short time ago.

May 23, 2012 - I've been researching for a week about the raw food diet and today I began what I hope will be a permanent change. I am starting slow and will admit I'm not a huge fruit or veggie fan to begin with but I do like apples, oranges, bananas and the common stuff and so I'm starting with that and seeds. I plan to go shopping tonight and get carrots and other veggies that look good to me.
ub52209 Says:
May 23, 2012 - Best of luck to you...if you stick with it you'll be amazed at the results...

May 23, 2012 - what proteins do raw vegans eat? I decided to become 100% raw.
Loveandpeacesusie23 Says:
May 23, 2012 - I just found out about Mimi........ & I feel hope, excited & motivated about my health! I decided to become 100% raw for the rest of my life & I hope my body will accept it. hopefully it's not a hard lifestyle to do. I bought some organic hemp seeds for proteins! I will keep doing my researcher also. I hope to meet or speak with Mini someday & thank you so much Mini! :)
ub52209 Says:
May 23, 2012 - Vegans get their protein from many foods...spinach, chia seeds, hemp seeds and dark leafy greens..you won't be low on protein on a raw vegan diet if you eat right
AnywhereButHere09 Says:
May 23, 2012 - but would you brew some herbal tea? I see the kettle on the stove, or do you do sun tea?

May 24, 2012 - I am vegetarian almost vegan and I wash my vegetables and cut them up and put them in the plastic boxes too. I would get glass but I have a disability and I keep breaking anything glass all over my floor.
FUCKSOClETY Says:
May 25, 2012 - Google "Michael Bluejay Protein For Vegetarians." It's virtually impossible for anyone, vegan or otherwise, to become protein deficient.
Dare873 Says:
May 27, 2012 - from where do you get vitamin b12? Which is only found in food from animals
ub52209 Says:
May 27, 2012 - I get b12 from seaweeds, miso, blue green algae, and spiralina. I get my blood levels checked once a year and if I'm low I'll take a vegan supplement.
ub52209 Says:
May 27, 2012 - also nutritional yeast contains it.
