Mar 23, 2012 - Seen this movie in the theatre, at first I was taken aback by the broadway musical stuff in it until I realized it was just a figment of her imagination, then I totally sat back and enjoyed the rest of the movie, what a sad sad movie!! Being a guy I chewed my milkduds thoughtfully, but all around in the theatre every woman was crying ...so moving (OK I teared up a bit)..this song was excellent!

Apr 20, 2012 - Lars Von Trier shot MELANCHOLIA in the same style, but without this Genius behind the music it simply doesn't compare ....I heard they fought viciously on the set and after seeing some of his shockumentaries (Antichrist) sold as film I see why. He wasn't ready to get in touch with his inner-child the way Bjork is capable of in her art. Her LIGHT simply stole the film from his SCHEME !

May 5, 2012 - It's gorgeous. Bjork struck something deep inside me. Only thing I found annoying is the mans voice. But god she is incredible

May 21, 2012 - This movie redefines musicals, you'll never see anything like this, please watch it, and this scene will make more sense and absolutely break your heart, Bjork is just absolutely brilliant in this one.

May 23, 2012 - I agree with everyone else here, very dark film. Not quite as tragic as "Requiem for a Dream."If you like dark films, there's quite a few film noir's from the 1940s and 50s that are even more hopeless, like "Scarlet Street" "I Am A Fugitive From A Chain Gang" and the like. Also check out Italian neo-realism films from the post-WW2 era.

May 25, 2012 - I just meant it's devastatingly sad. I was just using a bit of hyperbole and didn't mean it seriously.
