May 1, 2012 - It makes them seem like theve all got effed up lives and there broken down. I mean, i know the film would be boring if it was just happy, but at least think about wrestling as a whole not just wrestlers who have terrible lives

May 1, 2012 - From what I can remember it did show him in his heyday, and the younger wrestlers he works with seemed to be doing ok.The film wasn't a well-rounded view of all wrestlers, but shows what can happen to the unlucky ones. Plenty of wrestlers work for years in indy promotions & never make it, many struggle financially and health-wise.I saw it as a cautionary tale rather than a wrestling documentary,but I do appreciate that to a non-fan it might send the wrong message about the business as a whole.

May 3, 2012 - This film is so depressing. By the end of the film, I HATED Randy's daughter. He did mess up, but it was an accident. Burning bridges with your own family is a terrible thing to do no matter what. I wonder how she would've reacted when she heard he died (if he did die at the end). If she didn't at least feel SOMETHING, then she's nothing but a dirty, heartless whore.

She's been hurt and let down by him again and again. That's why she was so reluctant to let him back in her life. He was the one to press on and on after her. She finally gave in against her better judgement and bam! He let her down again. She's as much of a wounded animal as he is. There are no villains here.
