Apr 17, 2012 - ff13-2 was shit. square enix put so much focus on the original trailer on lighting. and they put lighting on the cover of the game. and they give lighting a new bad ass outfit and make her look cool. and you only actually get to be lighting in the whole game once! and the rest of the game is Serah and noel.

May 13, 2012 - @finchan100 Each game stands alone I believe, except the ones with a roman numeral and a regular number (so xiii and xiii-2 are related but xiii and XII are not). I was in the same boat, and thought I'd have to either buy a reficulous amount of games or read a ridiculous amount of wikipedia pages, but you can start on XIII and there wont be a problem.
