Apr 4, 2012 - Yes he is an Anarchist. One of our most influencial. All of the errors of capitalism are dependant on property rights.Anarchism is a logical antidote.

TheOfficialSyndrome Says:

Apr 7, 2012 - Well that is anarchist collectivism or mutualism which is essentially what a majority of anarchists believe in, but there are anarcho-capitalists, unfortunately, which advocate materialism and private property as opposed to Proudhon's widely popular anarchic belief that, "Property is theft". Just wanted to point that out. Also, anarchy is not just the abolition of private property because all anarchists believe in the abolition of the state since statism is a form of inevitable oppression.

subterraneannn Says:

Apr 7, 2012 - Yeah, I know, I was just trying to point this out for esteban two blurbs up who sounds freaked out about the whole thing, and doesn't really have any idea what's going on. He need the info g, HE NEED THE INFO G!!! The 4-11 brah.

pingguo2 Says:

Apr 8, 2012 - For those of you who want to just shrug Chomsky off because of his positions, please do so after you look at his credentials. He formulated the most influential theory in linguistics; he debated Foucault; he professes in MIT. Please.

AgowTisro Says:

Apr 10, 2012 - I'm sorry sir, but his credentials do nothing to solidify his positions. It does nothing in your favour to argue that.

frankdooly Says:

Apr 10, 2012 - Being intelligent doesn't forgive this man's naked Marxist beliefs..this is a democratic republic dikheads nit a socialist collective ..move somewhere else if u want to live under that despotic type of regime

pingguo2 Says:

Apr 10, 2012 - You are correct. I'm just saying we should all take Chomsky seriously.

spartyman4 Says:

Apr 13, 2012 - And a republic is the ideal form of governance? Says who? Republics rely on a small fraction of elite power to make decisions for an entire society. Is this really democratic? Republics are just a shade brighter than monarchies, in terms of the range of people to which they give liberty.

frankdooly Says:

Apr 13, 2012 - and what model should we use and please dont insult me u ignoramus by saying the communist model because that has been a failed experiment in every society it has ever been tried in. Maybe u should enjoy the freedoms we have in this country...

spartyman4 Says:

Apr 13, 2012 - I did not insult you (you were the one who indulged in name-calling) and I never claimed to be a communist. I simply think that we can do better than republics. And a despotic regime should not set off the socialist alarms in people's heads.

Kiburedomasuta Says:

Apr 15, 2012 - He's a Libertarian Socialist

Darty105 Says:

Apr 16, 2012 - 1) Naom Chomsky is an intelligent Marxist/anarchist2) Anarchy is the abolition of classes and state, or general lawlessness. It relies on human morality to hold together.3) Russia Today is a BS news program. When it comes to Russian programs, they are likely state run, and exaggerate.4) Socialism tends to be better than a republic. Not communism. However, technology permits a communism like system, but adds to complication.

beyoncelover202 Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - yea real unemployment is actually at like 15.6% which is higher than the bullshit 8.6% and 10% less than great-depression levels. this is real folks, real real real.

suruhreid Says:

Apr 26, 2012 - True communism has never been tried on any large, sustained scale. Communism is when the common people have control over the means of production and all decisions that pertain to their community. The societies you're referring to were the exact opposite of that. They just used the name to justify their actions.

LiveAndLocalRadio Says:

May 2, 2012 - ! Occupy Wall St. is not getting the attention it deserves because, other then to make a presence and parade through the streets. OWS has No well-defined goals, No mission statement, No plan of action is stated and No one knows what they really want us to do about the fact that large Corporations and their blood money run this Country.

LiveAndLocalRadio Says:

May 2, 2012 - Without a clear agenda of goals to achieve too remove Corporate control of our Country. Its just another parade and should be treated as such.Being President of Occupy Congress NJ. I will point you all in a better direction.A direction, with a goal in sight!Occupy Wall St. goal is too: Remove Corporate influences from politics altogether! THAT IS THEIR MISSION!

noobler9 Says:

May 4, 2012 - he's also explained that he's an anarchist in the sense that authority that is not able to be justified directly and immediately and continuously isn't legitimate and should be dropped:) pay attention, he's not said you don't need another president or something like that, stop trying to claim him as your mouthpiece ;)

euroqusling Says:

May 12, 2012 - google chomsky lies

DamiaanVDW Says:

May 14, 2012 - Anarcho-Syndicalism is far more democratic than any centralised electoral process can ever hope to be.

MrSkate4weed Says:
