Jul 31, 2011 - there is obviously more to it than what this video says. after you break the text apart twice it becomes vector shapes. but then before you go to grab the eraser and erase the st thing, youre supposed to hit f6 correct?? good .. because it will create ONE key frame. then when you erase one little part pressing f6 again doesnt create a new keyframe LOL all it does is advance the cursor 1 frame. so obviously there is some setting your text has to have for this to work or you didnt explain it right

Jul 31, 2011 - i found a fix 4 those of 4u that are having the problem i explained previously to this post. just make sure u are pressing control+B TWICE! once to break it apart & then again to create a vector out of the text !!ALSO!! THIS IS IMPORTANT! if u cant press f6 to create a new keyframe, press f5 first and THEN press f6 (press them separately). everything will be the same but its 1 extra button to push on each step of the process. no big deal
