So I had to explain what it meant and it's like Whoaaaaaaaa. lol It's just amazing that the whole movie aside the last 1 minute of it can change the whole thing around for you. LOVED IT. May 22, 2012 - Yes he was insane. The whole movie was based on the "therapy" that the asylum is trying to use to convince him that his wife murdered his kids... He refuses to believe what they say and chooses the lobotomy over accepting the fact that his kids and wife are dead, and he is just a patient at an institution. Excellent movie if you ask me...
